Beware of Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing!

The video below goes into the details and gives important information concerning CAIR – Counsel on American Islamic Relations.

Watch and listen to this video very closely. I believe that all people in the United States need to be aware of what is going on.

Do NOT be deceived by the media… there is no difference between radical and moderate Islam! There is an agenda, and we need to take notice.

Who’s your father? Who’s your leader?

Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Matt 23: 1-12

 I have a couple questions:

Who calls their religious leaders “father’?

Who calls their religious leaders “rabbi”?

For the first time in United States history The Pope will address Congress.

Pope Francis will be here, just days from now, and stand before our Congress (and cameras broadcasting to millions) to hear his commentary on the events of our day.

More than 1 Billion people world wide (an estimated 6% of the world’s population) look to The Pope as their spiritual leader and ultimate religious authority.

But, just to set the record straight, I DON’T.

I look to JESUS CHRIST!

The Catholic Church sets up their priests as the forgivers of sins, calling them ‘Father’ and the priests’ authority is headed by the Pope. Verse 9 states above that we (Christians) are to call no man father. There is no earthly authority that can forgive our sins; no mere man that we are to confess our sins to, and there is no need for a supreme earthly religious authority that Christians are to answer to.

The same goes for any group or denomination that sets up any man as an authority.

Rabbi means teacher or master.

Jesus is our master. According to John 14:26,  The Holy Spirit is our teacher. There is no man with any title or Master’s Degree that makes them more of an authority than Jesus or His Word. We are not to answer to earthy men, we answer to God, the True Supreme Authority.

As we see in the scripture above, those who allow their followers to exalt them to such positions are in direct opposition to The Word.

It’s funny that Congress will hear what The Pope has to say… Maybe they should be more concerned with what Christ has to say.

Christian’s… This is Your Wake-up Call!!!

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:4-6

I would suggest that you go to the Rapture Ready website and read Donna Wasson’s new article.

It’s very enlightening to say the least.

But, to put it in a nutshell…

It appears that our elected officials allowed Muslims to have prayer and hold service on the floor of our congress. Then they allowed the Muslims to defile our National Cathedral by allowing and encouraging “worship service” there.

The National Cathedral is known as our national house of prayer. These Muslims placed their prayer rugs down, facing Mecca, with their backs turned to the crosses that were on the walls because they find the crosses offensive.

This is all done in the name of religious/ political correctness. They say we all pray to the same god. I assure you, I don’t pray to the moon god.

I am happy to hear about some who will stand against this abomination!

Franklin Graham, on his Facebook page states,

“It’s sad to see a church open its doors to the worship of anything other than the ONE True God of the Bible, Who sent His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ, to earth to save us from our sins.”

And Walid Shoebat described it this way…

“To all who get excited at the Republican Victory, watch your idol kings and your high priests in their cathedrals all burned incense to Ba’al. They all bow at the sound of the name of Allah. They all sleep with Islam, the harlot of Arabia.”

I was glad to see at least one Christian make a stand. Just as the Imam was about to start the “service,” Christine Weick, a 50 year old woman, rose up in the midst of the so called “prayer service” and shouted,

“Jesus Christ died on that cross. He is the reason we are to worship only Him. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior”

(As she was being escorted out!)

This is far more serious than some Christians think it is. We are not to mix other religions with Christianity! We DON’T pray to the same god. And we’re not supposed to be tolerant of other religions and especially not let them worship in our churches.

I believe, if we continue down this path, we are going to suffer the consequences… in the form of judgment and persecution. So, if you’re a true Christian, GET READY!!! Make sure you’re grounded in the Word of God.

Just something to think about.

The Wrath of God

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;  And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 6:12-17

A lot of people are quick to quote that “God is love”. They aren’t as eager to talk about Him as an “all consuming fire.”

In the scripture reference above, we read just one example of what is coming for those who do not trust Jesus Christ as their Lord. Read the text carefully, and then think about it for a minute or two. Can you imagine MOUNTAINS and islands being moved?!? That’s an earthquake that the Richter Scale couldn’t measure!

What do the “prosperity preachers” say about verses like this? Do they even talk about it? Does YOUR pastor ever talk about this?

Many pastors won’t touch the subject, and many in their congregations don’t want to hear it. But, just because no one talks about it doesn’t mean it won’t happen!

Yes, God IS love. Yes, God loves everybody… but He hates sin! That means that a person can’t remain in sin. If you’re a homosexual you would have to stop living that lifestyle. If you are an adulterer, then you have to stop living in adultery. If you are a liar, a thief, a murderer… (I think you get my point), YOU CAN’T CONTINUE IN YOUR SIN!

If we do continue in sin, what’s described in this passage is just a small portion of what we have to look forward to.

Don’t take my word for it; open the Bible and read it for yourself.

BUT, there is a way out…

IF you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will be covered by His blood. You can be saved for all eternity. That’s more important to me than a few more fleeting years living in sin.

The decision is yours. The Bible says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Today is the day to make the decision; don’t wait until it’s too late.

PS- Pray for the 40,000 people stranded on a mountain in Iraq. They are Christians and other religious minorities, starving and thirsting to death. ISIS (the Islamic State) has them trapped without food or water in blistering heat. If something isn’t done, this will be a massacre.

Just something to think about.

Until next time…

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

See Revelation 6:1-8 here…

I don’t believe that the four horsemen of the apocalypse have been let loose yet. I believe that they will not come until The Church has been taken out of here (as in, after the Rapture.)

But with that said, I believe we can see on the news what it’s going to be like when the horsemen are let loose… only then it will be on a much larger scale.

The first horseman (on a white horse) could be the Antichrist, the one that will come to conquer. But, he’s not made his appearance just yet.

The second horseman (red horse) will come to take peace form the earth.  I believe if you watch the news, you can see how peace is being taken little by little. Israel and Hamas, Isil in Iraq, and the terrorist group Boko Haram in Africa… these are just a few examples of what’s happening around the world. And don’t be fooled, these terrorist groups are cold blooded killers. I’ve seen videos of Isil killing truck loads of people in Iraq; and they kill without even batting an eye.

The next horseman is on a black horse bringing economic collapse. In the next few years, we may see the dollar collapse. People may lose their retirement or 401Ks. We’re already starting to see prices on goods and services go up. That doesn’t look like it’s going to get better, but worse.

The final horseman rides a pale horse, bringing pestilence and famine. Recent headlines tell of a flesh–eating bacteria found in Florida and an Ebola outbreak in Africa (killing around 800 people so far.) According to other articles, HIV is still a growing problem.

If you take all the all of this and add the bird, fish and other animal die-offs, earthquakes, volcanoes, sink holes, and extreme weather, you may think the horsemen have already been let loose. But, compared to what’s actually coming with the horsemen, these are just the tip of the iceberg.

ARE YOU SCARED YET?!?!

Well, don’t be… there’s a way out.

The Bible says, that we, His Church, are not appointed to wrath (1 Thes. 5:9). Also read Revelation 3:10

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”

I believe that true Christians will be taken out of here before the Tribulation starts.

In the Gospels, Jesus said that as we near the Tribulation, things will get worse. He compared it to a woman in labor. The closer she gets to giving birth, the stronger the pain becomes. So, I believe what we are seeing are the “labor pains.”

ARE YOU READY???

“Thou art the man!”

Scripture reference: 2 Samuel 12: 1-14 (read here)

Oliver B. Greene shows us another unpopular preacher….

“Nathan was an unpopular preacher. His text was: “Thou Art the Man!” (II Sam. 12:7) ”

In this modern age, it’s not popular for a preacher to point people out or call their names. It seems that it’s not popular to point out that homosexuality is a sin; or to say that two people living together that aren’t married is a sin. In most circumstances, divorce is a sin, (though, there may be some legitimate reasons for divorce.)

But, I believe that Nathan didn’t care if he was popular or not. Nathan looked the king in the eye and said, “Thou art the man.” It didn’t matter to Nathan whether it was kings or peasants; he had a message from God to deliver… and he delivered it. You see, David thought he got away with murder. He thought he got away with sinning with Bathsheba. And maybe he could have in the eyes of man, but not from God.

Some people may say that Nathan “ambushed” David. If we were to confront somebody today about their sins, they would say, “You ambushed me, ” or “This is none of your business.” I would rather be confronted by God’s preacher about something now than to believe that I got away with it and have to give an account to God for it later. It would be better for God’s preacher to hold you accountable here so that you could repent.

I’m glad that there are still preachers that will reveal sin as sin. There have been times when God’s man has revealed to me that I have messed up and sinned. At the time, I didn’t like it very much; but now, I’m grateful.

Spiritually speaking, we have to learn to take it on the chin. It may hurt at the time, but we’ll get over it.

Just something to think about.

Until next time…

Unpopular Preachers

I have been reading books by Oliver B. Greene, founder of “The Gospel Hour” radio broadcast. I’ve listened to him off-and-on for years. I’ve just recently come in contact with many of his books. I’m happy that I have them and I count them as treasure. Oliver Greene is my kind of preacher. That being said, I believe that he would probably be counted as an unpopular preacher as well… and I mean that in a good way.

With that, I’d like to give you a quote from his sermon, “Unpopular Preachers”…

“I love God’s preachers. Thank God for my preacher friends! I dare not touch God’s anointed, but I do not hesitate to say that the dirtiest gang of thieves this side of Hell are the Gospel-denying, compromising liberals and modernists who deny the verbal inspiration of the Scriptures and preach to please people instead of preaching the Word as it is laid down in the Bible.

Hell will be hotter for these preachers than for ordinary sinners who sat in the pews and listened to their social gospel. Oh yes, there will be preachers in Hell (2nd Corinthians 11:13–15). Just as surely as God has God-called preachers, the Devil has Devil-called preachers.”

As you can see, that’s pretty strong language that you don’t hear from many preachers today. As many of you know, today, I believe, a lot of preachers are afraid that they are going to offend someone. They won’t point out what sin is and that the wages of sin is death.

So let’s get started…

One of the preachers he said would be unpopular is Noah. “They thought that poor old Noah had a ‘screw loose’,” Green quoted, “but he did not.” Green said Noah was a “listening, working, warning preacher. He listened to God, He worked on the ark, and he warned the people. 2 Peter 2:5 calls Noah a ‘preacher of righteousness,’ and that would make him unpopular in today’s society. People prefer to continue in their sin and unrighteousness”

(People would say “don’t judge me.”) If Noah preached today, he would be branded a ‘religious fanatic’ and a ‘prophet of gloom.” It didn’t make any difference to Noah what the people, in his day, said about him or about his message. He had heard from God and he had preached the warning that God had given him. And no man today can preached God’s word and not preach righteousness and judgment.  The Bible is a book of judgment. God is love (1John 4:8). But the same God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).

Noah preached many years while building the ark and if you read the story, you’ll see only 8 people made it in… Noah and his family. I just about bet when that first bit of water came up out of the ground, or that first rain drop fell, Noah may have suddenly became a very popular preacher. But it was too late.

Once again, most of this blog was taken from Oliver B Greene’s sermon. (The italicized portions.)

Just something to think about.

Until next time…
