Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! -Isaiah 5:20
For the life of me, I can’t understand how some people think; especially when it comes to comparing abortion with the death penalty. Let’s make it clear, the killing of an innocent, unborn child can’t even be remotely compared to the death penalty. Sad and disturbing as it is, some of those babies are delivered and the doctor snips it’s spinal column through the back of it’s head with a pair of scissors.
The very people who are for abortion will say that the death penalty is wrong. They ask the question, “If you’re against abortion, how can you stand for the death penalty?” Here’s why I can stand for the death penalty…
Those who commit the crime that’s worthy of the death penalty are adults. They can think for themselves and they know the consequences of their actions. They deliberately commit the crime in spite of knowing those consequences.
The baby is an innocent victim. It has committed no crime and is not responsible for it’s actions.
People will say, concerning the death penalty, “What if the system makes a mistake and puts an innocent person to death?” I can understand that to a certain point, but that is very rare. But I can assure you this, EVERY CHILD that is put to death is an innocent victim.
We, as Christians, should shout to the roof tops to our government that this atrocity should be stopped. And make no mistake about it, America WILL BE JUDGED for this.
Just think about it.
Until next time…
